Orange Crush!

Win or lose today, congratulations to the Lynn Valley Little League 11-12 baseball team on their exceptional season.  You have represented Lynn Valley with clash, competed with vigor and determination.  You have made an entire community proud.  Today Lynn Valley is competing in the final to represent BC at the Canadian Championship.

Manager Darin Frers, coaches Chris Saunders and Dave Shera, coached, mentored, and developed this team to be the District 5 Champions that represented that region in the Provincials this week.
Finishing the Provincial round robin of play as the top team they played Walley (District 3 Champions) for the BC championship today.

These men have spend many months this year coaching and mentoring our kids and hundreds of additional hours volunteering their time on the board.  All while being fathers to their other kids, husbands and maintaining full time jobs!  The passion, dedication, compassion, and humility you show make us proud and what contributes to making LV a great community.  The kids and families of this team are also exceptional, many whom I’ve coached in the past.  They are as talented as they are humble.

Lynn Valley came from behind in their Semi Final game to win and matchup against historically strong Walley.  Details about the semi-final game can be found here in the local TRAIL paper:
