LVLL is excited to announce the Bullpen Baseball Academy will be hosting five, 1.5-hour preseason warmup clinics in coordination with Lynn Valley Little League beginning January 18 in preparation for the 2020 season. There will be two separate age groups to accommodate players of varying levels and abilities:
Ages: 8/9/10 & 11/12/12+
Dates: January 18/19, 25/26, February 1/2, 8/9 and 22/23 (Note: no clinics Family Day weekend)
Times: Minors (8, 9 and 10s) Saturdays: Noon, 1:30pm and 3pm; Majors (11+): Sundays 1:30pm, 3pm and 4:30pm
Place: Kirkstone Cage and Field
Cost: $125 (all five sessions)
These clinics will be an excellent opportunity for players to get a head start on the upcoming season. Each clinic will be limited to a maximum number of players. Topics covered over the three sessions will include:
- Hitting: making more consistent contact and hitting for power
- Pitching: better control and how to throw with more velocity
- Fielding: importance of mechanics and how to field more effectively
